Sorry, egg on my face....

Thanks for the help, by writing the reply I noticed that when I copied and
pasted the command line in nrpe.cfg I forgot to change the name of the cmd.
I need a vacation!

Cut'n'paste the line from nrpe.cfg so we can see it...
