Hello !

The described problem has a solution.

Meantime I tried also Netscape 6.2.3 and it works, but didnt with IEx.6 !

So I found, that in "Internet Explorer v6 -> Extras -> Internetoptionen" (I
only know it German !) the option

	Use HTTP 1.1 over Proxies (in German: "HTTP 1.1 über Proxyverbindungen
verwenden")

must be _enabled_ !!!!!

I think, this should be written to the FAQ.

Hello !

I'm new in this list. Maybe this will be an earlier thread (but not found in
archives).

After some compiling problems (autoconf 2.13 only works !!!, not easy to
find the solution) nagios starts.

I can see the docs, and particular some sites will shown. But I get errors
when I try on the left side:

Tactical Overview: 	Error: Could not open CGI config file
'/usr/local/nagios/etc/cgi.cfg' for reading!
Service Detail:		Error: Could not open CGI config file
'/usr/local/nagios/etc/cgi.cfg' for reading!
Host Detail works.
Status Overview:		Error: Could not open main config file
'/usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg' for reading!

and so on, some Links works, some did not work.

It's a test computer. Apache is running, nagis is running
I'm using SuSE 8.0 German, Standard httpd.conf, nagios.conf as in
docs/mailinglists seen.
I did a chmod 777 /usr/local/nagios -R

I think my Apache-Config is the cause, but I'm not so familiar with it.

Does someone of you knows, where the solution is ?
