File-Based performance data options problem

Good morning,

	i had this problem and, for a reason that still eludes me, it was
necessary to enable the "performance data" on the "Process Info" page of the
web interface.

	My guess is that it had something to do with state_retention or
something related.

<shrug>

later,
dean

Subject: [Nagios-users] File-Based performance data options problem

I configured and compiled nagios with "--with-file-perfdate".
In hosts.cfg and services.cfg the "process_perf_data" option is set to 1
In nagios.cfg I added:
process_performance_data=1
xpdfile_host_perfdate_file=/usr/local/nagios/perf/hostperf.log
xpdfile_host_perfdata_template=$TIME$\t$HOSTNAME$\t$OUTPUT$\t$PERFDATA$
xpdfile_service_perfdate_file=/usr/local/nagios/perf/serviceperf.log
xpdfile_host_perfdata_template=$TIME$\t$HOSTNAME$\t$SERVICEDESC$\t$OUTPUT$\t
$PERFDATA$

The problem:

No data is logged. Do you have any ideas where my failure is?

Thanx,

Kai.
