Just use "min:" (no max value). It's mentioned if you type "check_procs
-h".

Subject: [Nagios-users] Check_procs range specification

Hi All,

I'm trying to specify ranges for the check_procs plugin wherein I want to
see if any processes I have identified
are running, no matter how many. If not it should return critical. But the
standard for this plugin is the usual
warning to critical range like in other plugins. Reversing the "min:max" to
"max:min" specification's no good
and it returns a zero value.

How would I make the plugin do what I want? And what is the argument array
for? How is it used? It's kind of
vague.

tia,
