Scheduling and check execution problem

Hi,

I have some problems with the scheduled check execution.

I'm using nagios 1.0b6

So I made this test :

I have around 850 services in my nagios configuration.
I set the normal_check_interval of all the services to 5 minutes.
I set :
inter_check_delay_method=n
service_interleave_factor=1
max_concurrent_checks=0
service_reaper_frequency=10

The scheduled checks are at the same time so...
I hope to have a high load on my server but...

The scheduled checks aren't executed at the same time, i have an average
latency aroud 400seconds...
I don't understand this behaviour...

Any ideas???
