- -- Dear Nagios users,

I am trying to configure a distributed monitoring nagios to send_nsca to the
central server. When i run the central nagios,

nsca seems to be working at first......... processing the service check
results of the data.

But after some time... the data becomes unknown again, and in the central
/var/log/messages it says ...
<remote service description> :check_nrpe: received 0 bytes. are we allow to
connect to host?

Can someone tell me why is it working at first and not working later?

I have checked the allow_host address in nsca.cfg to make sure that the IP of
the distributed monitoring server is already there.. so they should be able
to connect to host.

Central server's port 5667 is found to be listening
the distributed server was found to be waiting for the central server to say
it finished receiving all the data.
