Nagios vs MRTG for NetWare

It was written for use with MRTG. The NLM just checks counters on the
netware server and reports back whatever counter is requested. So, any
program can use that information. Nagios can use the information anyway you
want. For example I wrote a plugin that checks if the time on the server in
the tree is in sync.

Think of the nlm as a quick way to get SNMP data.

Subject: [Nagios-users] Nagios vs MRTG for NetWare

Ok,

I am confused.

On the Nagios FAQ it says that there is a plugin for Netware. But the file I
have downloaded is actually a plug in for MRTG?

And yet while i look at the screenshots of nagios at the nagios homepage, I
see a screenshot of nagios pulling info from NetWare boxes?

Or it could be that I just don't understand... :-)

Any input / info is appreciated.

TIA

W
