Compiling a single plug-in

I had the same problem. You dont have net-snmp installed. Get it from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=12694

I tried to compile the check_snmp and check_hpjd plugins using the gcc -o
command. 
When I tried to do so I got the following error message in both cases:

PATH_TO_SNMPGET undeclared (first use in this function)

What can I do to correct this problem? Thanks.

if check_hpjd did not compile check_snmp is probably not there either.  
both depend on snmpget command for ucd-snmp/net-snmp package.



check_dhcp is in the contrib directory and those are usually not compiled 
by default.

gcc -o check_dhcp check_dhcp.c
