RES: Problems Using MYSQL DB

I was this same problem, but the solucion are:

My problem was: the file " resource.cfg " was with the configurations for
access to MySQL in white, that is, it was not configured.  
  
Reading the documentation again verified that had made a mistake with the
file " cgi.cfg ".  

Correcting the problem Nagios worked perfectly.

When I start Nagios, I get the following in the LOG file

[1034817387] Error: Could not connect to MySQL database '' on host '' using
username '' and password ''.  Status data will not be saved!
[1034817387] Error: Could not connect to MySQL database '' on host '' using
username '' and password ''.  Retention data will not be processed or saved!
[1034817387] Error: Could not re-connect to database server on host '' for
status data.  I'll keep trying every 60 seconds...
[1034817387] Error: Could not connect to MySQL database '' on host '' using
username '' and password '' for comment data!
[1034817387] Error: Could not connect to MySQL database '' on host '' using
username '' and password '' for downtime data!

but I DO have those settings set in th cgi.cfg 

xsddb_host=localhost
xsddb_port=3306
xsddb_username=nagios
xsddb_password=xxxxx
xsddb_database=nagios

and I commented out status_file=/ in the main file .. 

what can I be doign wrong ? :( .. when I go to Nagios it says "Error: Could
not read host and service status information!"

(I assuem it's related)
