service checks that don't fit into check_interval

me again,

so i noticed that i had 1400 service check and according to the "Performance
Info" link on my Nagios site, i cannot fit them all into a 15 minute window.
see below (let alone the 10 minute window i was using for my
normal_check_interval).

How then are the remaining services scheduled? As you can see all 1400
service checks _are_ performed within 1 hour.

How is that?? Are they just jammed in as time permits? This becomes more
important during failures.

thanks for all the help today (and in advance for tomorrow),
dean
