Nagios first time user, install problem.

Hello.

I just compiled Nagios 1.0b5 (i tried 1.0b6 before with the same problem) on RH 7.3. Compiling completes successfully, or so it seems. I don`t receive any errors. I carefully follow the instructions so i dont get lost :)
But the problem is there is no catalogue /usr/local/nagios/etc

Any ideas ?
