NRPE and NSCA Clients on HP-UX

Has anyone had success compiling the NRPE and NSCA clients on HP-UX systems
running either 10.20 or 11.00?
I tried installing both but during the 'make all' procedure in both instances
Stop Exit Code 1 occurred. The main
culprit appears to have been Error 1705: Function prototypes are an ANSI
feature.
