Jesse,

This can be achieved by configuring checkcommands.cfg to perform the check of
the IP address and then calling the command as a service.

command[commandname]=$USER1$/check_ping -H <ip_address_to_be_monitored> -w
2000.0,60% -c 5000.0,100% -p 5

service[servicename]=PING DRAC
ERA;0;24x7;3;5;1;gwfis-admins;240;24x7;1;1;0;;commandname

We monitor multiple IP addresses on servers this way.
