Read-only view of hosts (again?)

Hey folks,
I'm finishing up another Nagios installation, and I realize
I have a need to let the folks in our helpdesk organization have a
read-only view of a certain number of hosts. They are a contact
for this specific group of hosts, but I can't let them start turning
off notifications or anything crazy (basically, gotta keep them away
from cmd.cgi, I guess).
Yes, I know this has been answered before on the list. ;)
Sourceforge's search function seems to be having a conniption fit,
and I didn't find any answers via Google.
I can't for the life of me remember how you folks were
doing it, and I can't access the archives (does anyone know of
an archive mirror anywhere? Sourceforge seems to have issues for
me quite often).
Sorry for the pre-asked question, but if I can't find the
pre-answers, I'm hosed for now. ;)
Benny
