host check through 2 isps simultaneously

As I've said before, if one uses DNS names (and avoids defining the IP
addresses in the host definitions), this should take care of it.

The tradeoff, of course, is that if none of your many redundant DNS servers
(;-) is available, you'll start to have other problems.  (You could install
a caching server on the Nagios host, which would help minimize risk.)
