1.0.7.0onnon-englishWin2000

Bosse:

You have to adjust your counters.defs files to match the exact syntax of
the counter. I had the same trouble when trying to install a working
NSClient in a Portuguese version.

Look at the Performance Monitor to these basic counters definitions
(CPU, Memories, UpTime) and copy them exactly to the counters.defs.
Watch also the NT ou 2K characters before the counter description.

HTH,

Sandro Merg Vaz

Assunto: Re: [Nagios-users] Problem with NSClient
1.0.7.0onnon-englishWin2000

I'm having problems with NSClient 0.7.0, on a Windows 2000 Server Build
SP3. The application log gets flooded with error messages like:

NSClient Error: PDH.dll Collect CommitByte - ERROR: 0xC0000BBC
NSClient Error: PDH.dll Collect CommitLimit - ERROR: 0xC0000BBC
NSClient Error: PDH.dll Collect Uptime - ERROR: 0xC0000BBC
NSClient Error: PDH.dll Collect CPU - ERROR: 0xC0000BBC
NSClient Error: PDH.dll Collect - ERROR: 0x800007D5

The only checks I'm running against this server is diskspace and one
service. I have tried disabling PerfProc with the Extensible Counter
List from the Recource Kit, restarting NSClient, enabling PerfProc and
restarting NSClient again, without success.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you might come up with.
