check_hpjd Timed out looking for patch

Hello all,
When using check_hpjd I am getting:
 
Timeout: No response from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
 
While looking through the mailing list archives, it appears that it is because I am using net net-snmp v5.x.  I found reference to a patch, but could not find the patch.  Can anyone help me out here?
