APAN - using ping service

Some of Apan's plugins have support for error states, but not ping (at the moment)
It's on the feature-list..

I believe this is because APAN currently doesn't not have support for 
error states at the moment...i.e., the response. or lack of response 
that ping is returning via the APAN script is not passed onto Nagios- 
hence "no output returned from plugin".

Fredrik, please correct me of I am wrong on this.
