I believe Cisco just started including SNMPv3 in thier CatalystOS, and maybe
IOS. I'm using net-snmp on mostly Solaris 7, with a few 2.6 holdovers.
However, I hope it gets adopted sooner, and by more vendors. It was blessed
by the IETF in early 2002, and not much progress has been made as of yet.

I believe that check_snmp will be supporting SNMPv3 shortly, but my scripts
walk entire tables and collate the data (ie: check space by partition
location - /usr/local - and not by OID).
