Could be. Have you looked in your apache error log for any messages. Does it say something about statusmap.cgi exiting pre-maturely? Do you have the LD_LIBRARY_PATH set correctly in the httpd.conf file? (SetENV LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/local/lib)

Actually I found my error.
I didn't have the gd libraries on my new machine. It's fixed but now it doesn't show the map, I just get a place where the images is supposed to be but there is no image.

Perhaps is has something to do with the fact that I'm using apache 2.X on this new machine ??

Thanks.

Try just making the cgi executables. From the Nagios source directory type make cgis. Are there any compile error messages there?

Hey guys,
I recompiled a new nagios on another machine and I can't make the statusmap work.

I checked my /usr/local/nagios/sbin and there was no statusmap.cgi file. Anyways I copied this from from another machine and I'm getting error 500.

How come the when I installed nagios it didn't install the statusmap.cgi file ... I didn't spedify --disable-statusmap=disables and yet the file has not been installed... ideas ?

Thank you.
