check_by_ssh

One thing I notice is that you're using ./check_ping when doing the 
check locally, but you're using /home/nagios/check_ping when doing it 
remotely.

Are you sure the path (/home/nagios/check_ping) is correct?

Other than that, I'm not sure what the problem might be.
