font-family:Arial'>We are starting to use availability reports as a metric for
our IT Operations groups’ performance and we are running into a minor
snag – the overall availability report for a hostgroup doesn’t distinguish
between scheduled and unscheduled downtime. I am sure this data is available in
the nagios logs as this information is presented in the availability report for
a specific host. I have found a thread on this list talking about just what I
am asking about here <a

but the patches offered in that thread go quite a bit further than I am ready
to since it looks like they are calculating SLA data for each host and also doing
special stuff with nagios logs to make the reports work better.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

patch that I haven’t found yet? What I need is a column for scheduled
downtime in the hostgroup availability report and that scheduled downtime
removed from the value in parenthesis for total downtime similar to how the undetermined
time is removed. Writing a few check scripts is fun and exciting but when I open
avail.c I have to say it looks a little daunting. We’re currently running
nagios 2.10 but we’re getting ready to move to 3.0.2 so if you know of
something for 3.0.2, that would just help motivate me to upgrade faster.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
