There were significant packet loss detected by their network team, so my guess is that SSL connections were being severed while NRPE was waiting for them to be established.</DIV><DIV><BR class="khtml-block-placeholder"></DIV><DIV>The patch is to set a timeout for the overall connection of nrpe.
