Wierd Issue last night with Email not being sent from nagios

What I notice here is the log entry indicates a HARD state for the check
when the check attempt is at 3.  In the check definition you have
max_check_attempts set to 5.  You might look for a conflict in your config
in connection with the max_check_attempts.
