Hi list, hi Ethan,

I finally started to upgrade my prod servers to 3.0.x (latest CVS for
now). Here are some bugs/odd things I came across:

In contrib./eventhandlers:

disable_active_service_checks:25, enable_active_service_checks:25,
enable_notifications:23
~ printfcmd is missing the $ sign

submit_check_result:36
~ Same problem as I reported earlier (double-quote $cmdline or use
printf as in the other scripts)

Also I though making install in contrib would install the eventhandlers
(apparently I copied them by hands...). Instead here's what it did:

nagios-3.0.1-cvs/contrib# make install
/usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 775 -o nagios -g nagios -d /sbin
/usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 775 -o nagios -g nagios -d /bin

Yes, it changed /bin and /sbin ownership to nagios, weeeee!

So far it's running smoothly, although it would be nice for users with
different interval_length that default host check_interval and
retry_interval be calculated using it. Mine is set to 1 so I had host
checks every 5 seconds! (actually even better IMHO would be to make this
a required parameter or print a warning in the verify pass - I use
different-than-default checking intervals too)

Thanks
