enable_environment_macros performance

Yes, we had to disable the option as well.

In our case it took 20+ seconds to setup the environment pr. system
call, and it made notifications and other serialized options (including
event handlers) impossible. There are some information in earlier posts
on the subject.

This was at Solaris SPARC (T1000 platform), ~400 hosts, ~4000 services.
