Nagios ePN - Getopt::Long with extra spaces at end causes execution failure

Anyone experiencing the same problem or able to come up with a fix?  I'm 
not a Perl guy and I have half a mind to rip out the EPN due to all the 
issues with memory leaks, etc. ;)
