Hi,
I just reproduced the problems from Peter Krüpl. My initial problem,
with the wired characters are probably due to an incompatibility
between the plugin check_logfiles and epn. (Setting
use_embedded_perl=0 the prefix is show correct)

But to my understanding of the tag "#nagios: -epn" it should disable
epn for the particular plugin even if use_embedded_perl ist set to 1.
But unfortunately the output still gets messed up.

So for the moment I can work around this. If I should contribute any
other testing, pls. let me know.

Thanks, Ingo.
