but wouldn't it much better do patch ntray? There are enough switches
 to control the status cgi. And IMO it should be possible to configure
 Ntray not alerting on soft states.



I wrote a a litte kde kicker applet (search for ktlight on nagiosexchange
) like ntray but it can handle all such states. Maybe that gives
 you an idea what to patch inside ntray.
