Simple question, possibly 2nd time posted

Thank you both for your help. I'm going to write a Java "server"
 to take connections (avoiding the multiple JVM penalty, with thanks
 to the friendly Swede (takk I believe it is)).  This server will
 then write what is needed to the external command file (thanks
 to Jorge for comfirming this plan)
