Activating nagios 1.2 in NagMIN

Can anyone shed some light on the nagios init.d scripts?

 

I'm running Nagios 1.2 on Solaris 9 with WebMin.  Anytime I call the nagios
init.d script within WebMIN, it fails with:
 Running configuration check...failed - aborting restart.
 
If I run the same command from the command line, it works fine.  I think it
is just a permissions issue, but not sure.  Can anyone offer any pointers?
